Education
Doctor Zoys was born and raised in Dallas. He graduated Valedictorian from Bishop Dunn High School and attended Austin College. After college, Dr. Zoys attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he distinguished himself by being elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He subsequently received the Charles Rockwood Award for Excellence in Orthopedics. He remained in San Antonio to further his Orthopedic training, giving presentations, publishing articles and attaining many high standards of excellence.
Interests & Professional Experience
Upon completion of this residency, Dr. Zoys accepted a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Australia
where he also participated in the orthopedic coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
His special interests are in sports medicine/trauma (shoulder, knee, foot, ankle) including arthroscopic surgery,
and joint replacement. He is Board Certified with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, a member of
the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
