PHYSICAL THERAPY
At Orthopedic Physical Therapy of Garland, we realize that continuum of care and a team approach is crucial to maximize patients¹ benefit from our services.
Our staff is well trained and experienced in all orthopedic conditions, sport-related injuries, and the spine. Each licensed staff member attends continuing education courses yearly in these topics. Not only does each member of the staff work very closely with one another and the patient, the treating therapist stays in contact with the referring physician throughout your treatment.
Once a referral has been made, insurance benefits are verified and pre-authorized if necessary by our Patient Service Coordinator. You will then be contacted and scheduled for your first visit, all usually within twenty-four hours. This is important for all patients, and especially vital to post-operative or acute care patients who should not experience a lapse in their recovery due to insurance or scheduling problems.
