Education
Todd C. Johnson, M.D. is a native of Humboldt, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa in May 1986. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Johnson completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship in sports medicine, reconstructive procedures, and joint replacement at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996.
Interests & Professional Experience
His special interests are sports medicine, joint replacement, and orthopedic trauma. He is a Diplomat to the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. Johnson has been the team doctor for Garland High School for 26 years. He is married and the father of two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, gardening, and water sports.
